Team & roles
Your WhatSetter workspace is built to be shared: salespeople taking over conversations, ops managing campaigns, developers wiring the API.
Inviting someone
Section titled “Inviting someone”Settings → Team → Invite. The person receives an invitation email, whether they already have a WhatSetter account or not. They join your workspace with the role you choose.
| Role | In two words |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including billing and workspace deletion. |
| Admin | Manages campaigns, team, integrations, not billing. |
| Member | Day-to-day work: conversations, leads, assigned campaigns. |
Permissions are enforced server-side on every action, not just hidden in the interface. A member can’t bypass a restriction by calling the API directly.
Who can create API keys?
Section titled “Who can create API keys?”Managing API keys and webhooks requires the integrations permission (Owner and Admin by default). Each key belongs to the workspace, not the person. If someone leaves the team, your integrations keep running.
