WhatsApp groups

WhatSetter isn’t just 1-to-1: your agent can also run WhatsApp groups, perfect for webinars, customer communities or event registration groups.

What you can do

• Import your existing groups and communities (including two-level communities) and attach them to a group campaign.
• Let the agent reply in the group when mentioned (@agent), and continue in private when a member messages it directly.
• Track activity in Group Analytics: members, messages, questions answered, leads detected.

The agent’s reply modes

Each group has its mode, from most discreet to most active:

1. Silent: the agent observes, never replies.
2. On mention: it only replies when tagged.
3. Support: it answers questions, in the group or in private.
4. Host: it revives the discussion and welcomes newcomers.
5. Sales: it detects interest and moves the conversation to private to qualify.

The default mode depends on the personality chosen at creation, and you can change it group by group.

Best practices

A group is not a broadcast list

The agent is there to converse, not to spam. The anti-ban protections apply to groups too: human pace, no bursts, contextual replies.
