Lead notifications
When your agent qualifies a lead, you want to know right away. Each campaign can notify you by email, on WhatsApp, or by calling a webhook. The settings are per campaign: a campaign for one offer can alert one team, another campaign another team.
Where to set it up
Section titled “Where to set it up”- Open Campaigns and open the campaign’s panel.
- Expand the Notifications section. The card is titled Lead notifications.
- Turn on the channels you want and fill them in. Changes save on their own: the card reads Saved.
When it fires
Section titled “When it fires”Notify me when a lead is: offers three choices:
| Choice | Fires when |
|---|---|
| Qualified | The agent validates the interest (default). |
| Not qualified | The agent closes the lead as not interested. |
| Both | Either event. |
This choice applies to email and webhooks. WhatsApp notifications are sent for qualified leads only.
Via email
Section titled “Via email”Turn on Via email and add up to 5 addresses. Email language sets the language of the email for this campaign: French, English or Spanish.
On WhatsApp
Section titled “On WhatsApp”Turn on On WhatsApp and type one number in international format, digits only, without spaces or the plus sign (447911123456). For every qualified lead, that number receives a summary of the conversation written by the AI. The message leaves from the campaign’s own connected number.
Via webhook
Section titled “Via webhook”Turn on Via webhook (advanced) and add up to 3 URLs starting with http or https. Each qualified (or not qualified) lead triggers a POST to every URL. Use it to push leads into Zapier, Make or your CRM.
Under Advanced (HMAC signature), set a Signing secret (or click
Generate). Every call is then signed with an X-Whatsetter-Signature
header (HMAC SHA-256), so your server can check the request really comes from
WhatSetter. Payload and verification: see Webhooks.
Send a test
Section titled “Send a test”With at least one channel turned on, click Send a test. WhatSetter sends a qualified-lead notification for a fictitious lead, Jean Dupont (test), +33612345678, flagged as a test:
- email and webhooks receive the same payload as a real qualified lead, with
is_testset to true; - the WhatsApp number receives a short confirmation from the campaign’s connected number, in the email language.
The test uses the settings as saved. If the campaign’s number is not connected, the WhatsApp part of the test fails.
Who can
Section titled “Who can”Changing these settings needs the Edit campaigns & prompts permission. See Team & roles.
